Frequently asked questions

Is Hawpol free for students?

Yes. Students and parents can download Hawpol and use it at no cost. Schools can contact us about bringing Hawpol to their school.

How does my school join Hawpol?

A school administrator contacts us through the contact form. We set up the school, then teachers and students download the app and request to join it.

Which languages does Hawpol support?

The app and this website are available in English, Arabic and Sorani Kurdish. Each person can choose their own language.

Can parents use Hawpol?

Yes. Parents can follow homework, grades, attendance, announcements and the school bus status for their child.

Does bus tracking use GPS?

No. Hawpol does not track the bus on a map. It shows the status the driver marks for each student, such as on the way or on the bus.

Is my data safe?

All data is sent over encrypted connections, access depends on each person's role in their school, and files are shared through short-lived links. We do not sell data or show ads. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

Does Hawpol show ads?

No. There are no ads and no advertising trackers in the app.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. You can also ask us to delete it through the account deletion page.
